Providing today's young men and women with a challenging and motivating education is a major goal of the Electronics and Telecommunications Programs at Texas A&M University. The KRISYS mobile platform is used in a number of different ways to engage students' interest in their college education and to also provide outreach and recruitment of high school students. Within the EET/TET educational programs, the KRISYS platforms are used to teach combinatorial and sequential logic design and embedded software design. For recruitment and outreach, KRISYS is the building block for both the annual Autonomous Robot Kompetition hosted by the Texas Gamma Chapter of the Tau Alpha Pi honor society, and will be further developed for two engineering workshops offered this summer to high school students. The KRISYS development team wishes to thank all of its industry sponsor for their strong support and participation.
